Question 1

How much does yacht rental cost?

Accepted Answer

Yacht rental prices vary based on vessel type, location, and season. On Salty7, you'll find options ranging from €200/day for motorboats to €5,000+/day for luxury yachts. Many owners offer weekly discounts and all-inclusive packages with skipper services.

Question 2

Do I need a license to rent a boat?

Accepted Answer

It depends on the vessel and location. For motorboats under a certain power threshold, many countries don't require a license. For larger yachts and sailboats, you'll typically need a valid boating license. Alternatively, you can book with a professional skipper included — no license needed!

Question 3

Can I rent a yacht with a skipper?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely! Many vessels on Salty7 offer optional or required skipper services. Our professional skippers handle navigation, safety, and local knowledge, so you can relax and enjoy your voyage. Prices typically range from €150-300/day depending on experience and location.

Question 4

What's included in the rental price?

Accepted Answer

Rental prices typically include the vessel, basic equipment, and insurance. Additional costs may include fuel, marina fees, skipper services, provisioning, and water sports equipment. Check each listing's 'What's Included' section for specific details.

Question 5

How do I book a yacht on Salty7?

Accepted Answer

Booking is simple: 1) Search for your destination and dates, 2) Browse available yachts and compare features, 3) Send an inquiry to the owner, 4) Once confirmed, complete your secure payment. Your booking is protected with our payment guarantee and 24/7 support.

Question 6

What if I need to cancel my booking?

Accepted Answer
